Dead Ant Tig

Identify a number of children to be ‘taggers’ (depending on the size of the group, usually one or two will suffice). Allow the rest of the group to spread out before allowing the taggers to attempt to catch the others.

Once caught, the children must stop, lay on their back and hold their arms and legs in the air, mimicking a dead ant. The child cannot become active again until each limb of the ‘ant’ is being held by one child (meaning it takes four children to free each ‘ant’).
